To ensure we can provide the best care for your pets, we require access to your home for all our services. This includes dog walking, pet sitting, and any additional services you may have scheduled. We recommend providing a key, access code, or any other necessary entry instructions to ensure smooth and timely visits. Rest assured, our team members are experienced, trustworthy, and dedicated to the well-being of your pets.  At Apartment Pups, we understand that plans can change. To accommodate this, we offer a flexible cancellation policy:

• 24-Hour Notice: If you need to cancel a scheduled service, please provide at least 24 hours' notice. This allows us to adjust our schedule and offer the slot to another pet in need.

• Credit for Future Services: Cancellations made with at least 24 hours' notice will receive a full credit towards future services. This credit can be used for any of our dog walking or pet sitting services.

• No Refunds: Please note that we do not offer refunds for cancellations. Instead, we provide a credit to ensure you can reschedule at your convenience.

 At Apartment Pups, we are committed to providing the highest quality care for your pets. However, we reserve the right to refuse service under certain circumstances to ensure the safety and well-being of both our staff and your pets. These circumstances include, but are not limited to:

• Aggressive Behavior: If a pet exhibits aggressive behavior that poses a risk to our staff or other animals, we may refuse service.
• Health Concerns: If a pet shows signs of illness or injury that could be contagious or harmful to other pets or our staff, we may refuse service until the pet has been cleared by a veterinarian.
• Unsafe Environment: If the environment where the pet is kept is deemed unsafe or unsanitary for our staff or the pet, we may refuse service.
• Non-Compliance: If the pet owner fails to comply with our policies, including providing accurate information about the pet's behavior, health, and care needs, we may refuse service.
• Payment Issues: If there are unresolved payment issues or if services are not paid for at the time of booking, we may refuse service.

At Apartment Pups, the health and safety of your pets are our top priorities. We take cleanliness and disease prevention very seriously to ensure a safe and healthy environment for all pets under our care. Our precautions include:

1. Sanitization: We thoroughly sanitize all equipment, including leashes, collars, and carriers, before and after each use. This helps prevent the spread of germs and bacteria between pets.
2. Hand Hygiene: Our staff members practice strict hand hygiene by washing their hands with soap and water or using hand sanitizer before and after handling each pet.
3. Protective Gear: When necessary, our staff wears protective gear such as gloves, shoe covers, and/or masks to minimize the risk of transmitting diseases.
4. Health Monitoring: We closely monitor the health of all pets in our care and promptly report any signs of illness to the pet owner. 
5. Vaccination Requirements: We require all pets to be up-to-date on their vaccinations before receiving our services. This helps protect all pets from preventable diseases.
6. Puppy Pen Clean-Up and Refresh: For the safety of our staff, we cannot perform this service if mama or daddy are aggressive. We ensure that the puppy's pen is cleaned and refreshed, including changing bedding, sanitizing the area, and maintaining a clean and comfortable environment for your puppy.
